The Old Stable

I loved this cool place as a base for enjoying the Pittenweem Art Festival and will recommend it to friends. Positive: Quiet location, a lovely space, well kitted out, very comfortable. Negative: Can’t think of anything… maybe some basic notes in the Welcome book on how to use oven, hob, and tips on the stove?

The hosts were so good in communicating with us and the house had everything needed for our stay. A beautiful loaf of br Positive: This property is perfect for a short stay to enjoy the East Neuk Negative: Pleased I had taken my eye mask as there are no blackout curtains and a velux with no screen. So for a light sleeper you would be waking very early in the summer months.

Will definitely visit again. Positive: Great use of space. Stylishly converted. Great use of stone, steel and wood. Heating options great. Negative: Squint tv. Tv would not tune to terrestrial stations. Only able to watch BBC iplayer.

A peaceful Scottish seaside escape within a cozy and tastefully decorated townhome. Positive: The most unique place we’ve ever stayed in. Peaceful mornings and cozy nights by the fire. Will hopefully come back again one day, but will always remember Pittenweem!
